What is the Honda's new slick shift? How does it work?

The Stoner Rossi incident in Jerez 2011 allowed the Ducati to join the race because Rossi pulled the clutch while falling whereas Stoner did not. This caused the Honda to start but it did not. After that incident Honda changed the clutch design to allow the engine to be restarted. What is this new design and how does it work?
