Calling all goths-How do you stay consistently goth looking if you find anti-goth clothes you like?

I'm goth and for the most part my wardrobe reflects that but after several years of parents buying my clothes and changing styles it has now become eclectic. I just want to know how goths shop. What do you look for when you go shopping, where do you shop, and any other advice. I've always wanted a consistent look but never had it and I think it's time to start trying. Please give me some advice-but no emos, or non-goths please. And I'm not a poser. I know it's not about fashion, it's beliefs and that's what makes me goth...but I still like the look. Thanks.
