Are there any cities as diverse and eclectic as Austin, TX? Please list some...?

Ok everyone I have an odd maybe even impertinent question. I want to visit somewhere as crazy as Austin, TX. Just to give you some anchor, I am in an interracial relationship, where could I go and not have heads turn so "conservatively". Austin is often called "weird" and I would love to visit somewhere greater or equal too. I've known Los Angeles to be one, but it's stops there for me, or that's all that I know of. I would love as many answers and as much input you can spare. Thank You!
